Hockey commentary

After over 40 years of international hockey, Andy uses his experience in a commentary role. He has been covering indoor hockey extensively, both domestic finals and international competitions as a highly regarded colour commentator. More recently, he has gravitated to outdoor hockey commentating on the FIH Pro League on BT Sport (now TNT Sport).

Early in 2024 he stepped forward to deliver lead commentary at the European Nations Indoor Championship in Leuven, Belgium and the European Clubs competition in Vienna, Austria. Both events were streamed by eurohockeytv.org 

"I'd love to develop my skills in the commentary box. I've worked alongside some proper professionals and with so much experience, I'd love to offer more and put back into the game that has given me so much pleasure." 

Speaking & presenting

After many years of such rich experiences, Andy talks openly about his life working in two diverse areas of high performance.

A natural communicator, whether it is motivational speaking, the secrets of high performance or decision making under pressure, he has a story to tell. He speaks, candidly with both humour and humility in his 1 hour presentation, "Bombs, Bullets and Banter." An inspiring glimpse into a world of high performing teams.
